I have over 14 years of experience and have trained over 30 women across the US how to build and scale their own spray tanning businesses. The latest research study on the global Spray Tanning market finds that the global Spray Tanning market reached a value of USD 356.49 million in 2022. It is expected that the market will achieve USD 484.03 million by 2028, exhibiting a CAGR of 5.23% during the forecast period. (See Market Watch)

In most states, you do not need any additional licensing to start this business. The only state as of now that requires an esthetics license is Oregon. Spray tanning can be done mobile, studio, or in a salon. Most everyone starts as a mobile business, which gives you the freedom to make your own schedule and be your own boss. You will spend your time making people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin, and making great money while doing so. Each application only takes 20-30 minutes and can cost anywhere from $55 - $300 in some places. Most businesses are $30,000 - $40,000 to start and most do not see a return until after the second year.
